Now
we are in Tasmania, one of Australia’s states
in the south. Tasmania is not very big, it
has the same size as Sri Lanka, which is
quite small as well. It took us only 4 days to discover the island by car.
There is heaps of landscape, especially cows, sheep, waterfalls etc. I was
climbing many trees in the rain forest, jumped from one rock to the other in
the rivers and ended up riding a horse through the rough rain forest and its
surroundings.

On
this pictures you can see how I climbed rocks and had a beautiful view over the
wineglass bay. It was amazing. We took a walk for about 4h and 11km. We saw
burned trees, kangaroos, lots of rainforest as well as a snake which all of a
sudden appeared in front of our feet. Scary!!

Now
it was time to go horseback riding again...long time ago. After 3hours I
couldn’t walk anymore. We also went into a cave, a limestone cave. We had to
crawl on the floor sometimes in order to fit through all the small gaps. It was
frightening. It was very interesting to experience such a cave, also gaining
some knowledge about the history etc. At the end of this trip it was time for
real relaxation. A Greek Thermal Bath was the objective. Massages, Sauna,
whirlpools and so on… All the sore muscles were healed.
Tassie-land
was a great experience!! |
